Stopped by the bar in this place after a mountain bike ride. Having a background in the food service industry, I could not believe what was going on behind the bar. First of all, the "bartenders" had obviously just been moved over from running the register and didn't even know the names of the beer on tap. Considering this, it should come as no surprise that the service was horrible and we all sat with empty beers (we were the only six people there). Our dirty glasses were rinsed on the glass rinser at the beer tap...As was every other dirty glass. If you're not familiar with this equipment, the entire rim of the glass comes into contact with it, rising the remaining beer onto the rinser itself...Not something you ever do with anything other than a clean glass. On the topic of hygiene, I also saw the bartender use the restroom and go back to the bar without washing his hands. He proceeded to stand behind the bar eating a chili dog, again never bothering to wash his hands. I get that's it's a gas station, but if you're going to go through the trouble of putting in a bar you should at the very least teach your employees basic restaurant hygiene.

It's a gas station. Good place to sit in the parking lot and listen to loud music.
