We moved into the Asheville area in late 2016 and immediately began searching for furniture for our home which was in the initial stages of construction. We looked far and wide in and around Asheville, but knew the first time we stepped foot into Design Avenue and met with Jackie and her team that we needed to look no further. Her showroom is amazing with a great variety of styles sure to satisfy any homeowner. Not only does she have a knack for understanding a client’s preferred style, she works endlessly on the design, fabric choices, space planning and furniture placement. She designed 5 rooms in our home incorporating some existing furniture pieces and artwork. We can’t emphasize enough what a fantastic experience we have had working with Jackie, Dale and Mark. We absolutely love our newly designed home and highly recommend Design Avenue Home Furnishings!
Amazing! This is the second time we have worked with Jackie and her team. They are reliable, honest creative, give fabulous customer service and are just super nice people! They offer great quality products at a fair price and stand behind what they sell. This is a great find and we'll worth the trip! We drove an hour and a half to shop there! Jackie and team have helped me furnish most of my home. The range of choices she carries is amazing. From laundry rooms to offices. Buying pieces that are made in America and of high quality is critical to me. Above all is Jackie's keen sense of design, fabrics, use of space and balance. The team is responsive, communicates well and prices are reasonable. Can't recommend them highly enough.
We completely furnished our main living area with Jackie at Design Ave. It was a fabulous experience. We found the main pieces at the shop and then accessorized around them from her catalogs or other resources she offered us. We could not be more pleased with the result. The room is stunning and just the change we were looking for. Working with Jackie and her team was delightful. They are always pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and tactful. We just built a new home in Fairview, NC and completely furnished it with help from Jackie at Design Avenue. Jackie has exquisite taste; however, she listens to her clients and is on board with the clients' tastes and makes wonderful suggestions to accommodate their desires. Each time we let her know in advance that we were coming to the store and what we had in mind, she had several selections laid out for us when we arrived. With Jackie's help we always found exactly what we wanted and had no need to go anywhere else. She has a broad range of selections in her store as well as a myriad of catalogues, and Jackie know just where to go to find what you are looking for. Jackie is a delight to work with, and our experience was such a pleasure. Pricing was comparable to other furniture stores which sell upscale furniture in this area. Everything was delivered when expected, and the delivery team could not have been more professional. We have found the furniture store of our dreams!!
